This time I will discuss about Japanese ghost Hanako San. Although not as popular as Sadako and Kayako, this ghost is quite interesting to discuss. Like other urban legend ghosts, Hanako San also comes with various versions. Hanako San is also often used as a venue for courage proofing or courage testing.

Many versions say the initial story of Hanako San's existence such as:

1. Hanako San is a student who died because of an accident at her school, she fell from the window of the school library.

2. Hanako San is a small child who was playing hide and seek with his friend, while hiding suddenly he was killed by a bomb from an air strike. The story was stated to have occurred in World War II.

3. Hanako San is a girl who was a victim of violence committed by her own parents, then her body was found in a school toilet.

4. Hanako San is hiding in the school toilet to avoid being chased by her mentally ill mother, but when she is hiding she is found and finally killed in the toilet.

In general, Hanako San is depicted with a figure of short-haired girl or Bob's haircut, wearing a red skirt and dressed in white stained blood. But sometimes Hanako San also comes with white clothes. Hanako San inhabits women's toilets in room number three and often casts terror.
